In 2002, we successfully developed a new photosensitive group (\u201cactive energy ray resin composite\u201d) and obtained a patent. Both of these are photo emulsions and capillary films that develop with water, and we have continued to develop many environmentally-friendly products. <br>Going forward, we will continue to actively activities will be guided by the basic approach of strengthening E (Environmental), S (Social), and G (Governance).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"swContentSubTitle\">Issues to be addressed by Murakami<\/h3>\n<p>In the Murakami Group, we have previously worked through separate organizations and groups, e.g., the ISO Executive Committee handling \u201cEnvironmental,\u201d the Human Resources Department handling \u201cSocial,\u201d and the Board of Directors handling \u201cGovernance.\u201d In order for the entire Murakami Group, including overseas subsidiaries and affiliated companies, to implement ESG management, a need has arisen for establishing a department with cross-cutting general oversight over the entire group organization.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"swContentSubTitle\">Guidelines for addressing issues<\/h3>\n<p>We will establish an ESG Promotion Committee at our Head Office, with the Representative Director and President as Chair, periodically check the actual status of the Murakami Group\u2019s environmental, social, and governance management, clarify the issues that arise in that context, connect that with improvement actions, and fulfill our social responsibility with the aim of abiding by our management philosophy, and creating a sustainable society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section id=\"esg\" class=\"stSection coloredBG\">\n<div
